Hi I’m Ash,

Growing up I have always been heavily involved in sport and exercise. As soon as I learnt to walk my dad placed a rugby ball in my hands which lead me to play top grade rugby and athletics, representing my region in both right throughout my childhood and teenage years so fitness has always been a big priority and focus in my life.

As a young boy my heroes who I looked up to were always big, strong and muscular. My favourite cartoons and action figurines all had muscular physiques so it was something I always aspired to be like at a very young age. I was a skinny kid growing up, even throughout my teenage years I found it very difficult to put on any weight no matter how much I ate or how hard I trained. Once I finished High School I put a lot of time into learning about the correct nutrition and training to develop and grow my physique. This is when it all started to slowly change and my passion for bodybuilding really came to light. There is no greater feeling than seeing your physique slowly change in the mirror the way you envisioned by putting in the hard work consistently day in day out!

This then lead me to pursue a career in Personal Training and work in the fitness industry, I wanted to share my passion and use it to help others achieve their own health and fitness goals and make the transformation they also always wanted to make through applying the correct training methods and nutrition. I strive to give others that same unexplainable feeling of pride, success and achievement when you achieve something you never thought would be possible.

I now have over 10 years experience in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer and Health and Fitness Coach. I have devoted countless hours in the gym practicing what I preach and am very blessed to have the opportunity to help others achieve their health and fitness goals from all around the world. Changing lives is my absolute passion! Nothing means more to me to me than seeing my clients achieve their goals. With hard work, determination and consistency, you really can achieve anything you set your mind to!

Hi I’m Lou

Born and bred in the country side I grew up always being outdoors and on the farm. I was introduced to team sports at the age of 5 and every year from then on my enthusiasm and interest only increased. By the time I got to high school I was Representing the region and lower North Island in football. I have always had a competitive nature so towards my last few years at high school I participated in every sport I could and P.E games were never just games. I went on every sports exchange and never once forged a note to not do cross country. I loved being active and took anything fitness related very seriously, always putting my best foot forward. I graduated high school with excellence in P.E and the passion only expanded from there.

My early twenties was filled with cycles of binge eating and tea detox’s which you can imagine, never really got me anywhere. Although being very active I never had much knowledge around nutrition and I struggled to really feel confident in my body. It wasn’t until I started really investing in myself by joining a gym and establishing some healthy habits that things started to change. I fell in love with weight training and the feeling of being strong gave me so much more than physical strength. I felt empowered! I found myself training for my first bodybuilding show which is when I realised the powerful role nutrition plays in contributing to our body composition. With structured training and nutrition I came to see that the body is capable of so much more than what we know. The changes you make not only physically but also mentally are indescribable and the feeling of achieving a goal you have worked so hard for filled my soul with joy. I had found my passion.

I then went on to study to become a Personal Trainer, and my passion has only grown. I have worked alongside Ash for the past 5 years helping hundreds of people make incredible transformations both inside and out! I can’t think of anything more fulfilling to me than to see clients reach their goals and acknowledge the feeling of success in achieving something they once dreamed about. I take great pride in the work that I do and hold immense amounts of respect to anyone that is looking to become a better version of themselves.

I have lived and learnt ‘what not to do’ and also ‘what to do’ in order to get the results you want. It’s not a linear pathway and it does take time, but every ounce of effort that you put in does not go unacknowledged. I take a very balanced approach to self improvement and understand the various stimulus that we endure day in and day out play a role in contributing to a healthy well-being. I have met and trained some incredible people both in-house and online and I can assure you that the sweat, the discipline and the consistency is always worth it.
